Counterfeit drugs!
Counterfeit
drugs are bad news. You think you’re taking a pain killer or drug for
weight loss or erectile dysfunction (ED) but instead you end up with any
number of hidden poisons such as road paint, antifreeze, and worse.
By
some estimates, more than 10 percent of all pharmaceuticals in the
global supply chain are counterfeit. In some countries, fake
pharmaceuticals account for 70 percent of all drugs in the supply chain.
Conmen
have jumped on the fake drug game with rigor, and although they can
sell any kind of counterfeit drug with enough creativity, the most
common ones you’re likely to find are heart medicines, antibiotics,
cancer drugs, psychiatric medications, weight loss meds, treatments for
chronic conditions, and erectile dysfunction medicine.
If
you suffer heart disease, you should be treated by a doctor, not a
website that offers online diagnosis of your ailments. Coronary heart
disease is the leading cause of death for American men and women,
Cardiologists
and other doctors have read with alarm reports of fake — and
ineffective — versions of these often-expensive drugs circulating in the
U.S. Americans are more likely than their counterparts in Europe to
purchase drugs for serious illnesses online. The real danger is not only
will patients not get the drugs they need, they will get a dangerous
counterfeit instead.
Since
antibiotics are drugs you take when you are sick with an infection,
getting a counterfeit version of an antibiotic could make you sicker,
simply because it does not cure your infection. Unfortunately, worsening
illness is only one risk of taking antibiotics purchased without a
prescription. They may be tainted with heavy metals, or some other
dangerous ingredient.
In
recent years, fake cancer drugs had been found in Israel and China, and
then again in February 2012 In the United States. The Federal Drug
Administration warned doctors’ offices and clinics in 15 states that
they might have purchased counterfeit vials of Avastin containing no
real drug, but simply acetone and water.
The
Pharmaceutical Security Institute reports that 37% of all fake
medicines seized are ED drugs. ED drugs are offered for sale via
thousands of fake online pharmacies without prescription requirements.
One
problem is men are avoiding their doctors and buying these medications
without a prescription — unaware that it can be risky for people with
heart disease and other conditions. The real danger of buying these
drugs from a non-VIPPS approved pharmacy is that there is a very good
chance they will not just be counterfeit, but poison.
Chronic
ailments pose a great marketing opportunity for drug counterfeiters,
because chronic ailments by their very nature respond at a more measured
pace to treatment. Drugs for conditions like AIDS and diabetes are
being counterfeited more frequently, subjecting those who suffer from
them to increased dangers from lack of treatment and exposure to toxic
compounds.
Painkillers
and weight-loss medications have already been exploited by
counterfeiters selling fake versions in the US. Get to know what your
medications look like and be on the lookout for any packaging or
labeling anomalies.
Also,
only buy prescription medications from Verified Internet Pharmacy
Practice Sites (VIPPS) approved pharmacies or legitimate brick-and
mortar pharmacies, and only buy over-the-counter drugs from trusted
sellers.
The
recent FDA warning about counterfeit Adderall sold online is an example
of how drug counterfeiters are also targeting psychiatric medications.
If you search Google for Xanax, Ativan, Adderrall, or Ambien you'll find
hundreds of websites offering these powerful drugs without a
prescription. One way you can tell if the website is a fake is if they
offer to sell you prescription medication without a prescription, then
the drugs they are selling are suspect.

I have had the privilege of
traveling throughout the world, and have visited many countries,
including a few communist nations. But I am always glad to come home to
the United States of America, because I believe it is the greatest
nation on Earth.
Imagine what kind of world we would live in today if there never had been a United States of America. There would have been no one to turn back the Nazis and their allies in World War II, no one to stand up against the tyranny of communism over the years, and no one to stand up for the small nations that are unable to help themselves. That is not to mention the billions of dollars in foreign aid that has been sent to help those in need.
As you know, in 1776, our founding fathers signed a document called the Declaration of Independence. Among other things, this declaration says, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
Our Declaration of Independence states that we have the right to pursue happiness. Yet, are we a happy people?
Some of us might think, "I would be happy if I could just be rich and famous and have disposable income." But if that were the case, why are there miserable wealthy people? One philosopher has observed, "The search for happiness is one of the chief sources of unhappiness."
In the United States today, the accumulation of material goods are at an all-time high. So is the number of people who feel emptiness in their lives. What has gone wrong? Even the person on the lowest rung of the economic ladder in America has it better than the majority of the people living in many other countries today.
Yet there is emptiness. As the Bible says, "They sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind..." (Hosea 8:7 NKJV).
We have what you might describe as "trouble in paradise." According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the United States and the third leading cause among U.S. residents ages 10 to 24, comprising 11.7 percent of all deaths in this age group.
Why is there hopelessness in the hearts of America's youth? The answer is that we have forgotten God. In our pursuit of freedom, we have lost sight of the Creator who gave us clear parameters to live by. For many, that pursuit of freedom has led to a life of bondage and despair.
But in all fairness, what did we expect? After all, this is a generation that has been raised to believe we are all products of the evolutionary process. They are told there is no God, there is no plan or purpose for their lives, and they are the masters of their own destinies. They are taught they are good inside and are products of their environment.
Yet in the Bible's assessment of the problems of man, it doesn't say we are all victims, as some would assert. It doesn't say we all have diseases, as others would tell us. It doesn't say we are merely dysfunctional.
It says, "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked..." (Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV). That is why we do the things we do.
Because of this, we need to realize that no politician will save us. No act of Congress will turn America around. Even the president cannot solve all of our problems.
The answer to America's problems is not political; it is spiritual. Although we have forgotten God, He has not forgotten us. We need to turn back to God, and I think we had better do it soon.
We need to get back to the God our founding fathers believed in when they established this nation. We need to get back to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We need to get back to the God who sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sin. We need to get back to the true and living God who can save America.
It is my belief that our nation has two choices before her today. One is judgment. The other is spiritual awakening or revival. That is what we need to pray for in the United States of America.

Philadelphia’s largest newspaper described Kane’s sentencing this week as “capping a spectacular downfall for a woman once seen as one of the state’s fastest-rising stars.” Kane’s first year in office was marked by political and public relations successes, the paper states, but it went downhill from there. After “her star began to dim in 2014, she leaked confidential grand jury material to a newspaper in a bid to embarrass a political enemy, then lied about her actions under oath,” the story says. At this week’s five-hour sentencing hearing in Montgomery County the judge blasted Kane and rejected calls for leniency. The former prosecutor used and exploited her position to battle perceived enemies instead of focusing on the business of fighting crime, the judge, Wendy Demchick-Alley, said during the hearing.
The leak stems from a feud that Kane had with a former prosecutor in her office named Frank Fina, who Kane accused of planting a damaging media story. Before Kane got elected the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office ran a years-long, undercover sting operation that busted leading state Democrats embroiled in a bribery scheme. At the time the Attorney General was Republican Tom Corbett. When Kane took office in 2013, she shut the operation down. Before Kane ended the investigation, sources familiar with the inquiry said, prosecutors amassed 400 hours of audio and videotape that documented at least four city Democrats taking payments in cash or money orders, and in one case, a $2,000 Tiffany bracelet.
Back In 2014 Judicial Watch testified before a Pennsylvania House State Government Committee investigating Kane for refusing to uphold Commonwealth laws that she didn’t agree with. Judicial Watch Attorney Michael Bekesha explained to the panel that Kane had consistently failed to honor her sworn oath to uphold the state’s constitution by, among other things, refusing to defend the state’s marriage laws and failing to prosecute elected officials for accepting cash and other gifts in exchange for political favors. Bekesha also pointed out to the committee that the State Ethics Commission concluded that the promotion of Kane’s sister to Chief Deputy Attorney General in the child predator section created a perception that the promotion was not free from Kane’s influence. “Attorney General Kane is lawless,” Bekesha testified, adding that just the appearance of impropriety or misbehavior damages the office.
Kane has close ties to the Clintons and she worked on Hillary’s 2008 failed presidential campaign. In 2012 Bill Clinton endorsed Kane for Attorney General over former Pennsylvania Congressman Patrick Murphy. At the time the former president said “Kathleen is a great Democrat who understands that an Attorney General’s job is to stand up for consumers and people,” according to a press release dug up by a news outlet this week. After winning the election and making history as the first woman and first Democrat to hold the office, Kane was considered a rising star in the Democratic Party. Some believed she had a bright future in the U.S. Senate. Instead, the disgraced Attorney General is going to jail and her license to practice law has been suspended.

Former Chicago Mayor and Obama Pal Using Fraud-Infested Visa Program to Raise Millions for His Co!
In this case, former longtime Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and his son are asking the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to let them solicit $150 million from foreign investors by using the EB-5 visa program. Chicago’s conservative newspaper published an investigative piece this week after obtaining hundreds of pages of government records. Though the documents were “heavily redacted,” there was enough information to cause alarm, especially after connecting the dots between the president and the disgraced former mayor. During Daley’s tenure more than 30 city workers, including two senior administrators close to the mayor, and contractors got federally indicated for taking bribes. A dozen cabinet-level officials also resigned in the fiasco.
When Obama became president, he hired some of Daley’s top people, including David Axelrod, who was the Chicago mayor’s chief consultant, and Valerie Jarrett, his former deputy chief of staff. In his ill-fated effort to bring the 2016 Olympics to his adopted hometown of Chicago, Obama deployed Jarrett, a senior White House advisor, to the Windy City to work out the details with Daley. Judicial Watch investigated the scandal and had to sue to uncover records involving the president’s costly plan to bring the Olympics to Chicago. This included a trip to Copenhagen by Obama and his wife to appeal to the International Olympic Committee to give Chicago the bid that went to Rio de Janeiro. Four years and millions of dollars in planning came to an abrupt halt in the Windy City, where local leaders—including Daley—and politically-connected business owners were banking on Obama’s star power to bring the games home.
Now we have Daley, a powerful figure in the Democratic Party and Chicago’s longest serving mayor (the city has no term limits so he served 22 years), using his political connections to benefit his private business. The company seeking to lure foreign investors with U.S. visas is called Tur Partners and Daley owns it with his son Patrick. The records obtained by the Chicago newspaper say the father-and-son conglomerate wants to build a downtown skyscraper and their DHS application was submitted on September 22, 2015. The application shows that each would put up half a million dollars for the skyscraper project and pay a $50,000 administrative fee that would bring the Daleys’ company $15 million, the article states. “In return, the foreigners would be eligible to be granted visas allowing them and their immediate families to move to the United States and live here forever,” the story says. Of interesting note is that the Daleys will also collect an additional $50,000 from each investor to “cover the costs of offering migration services and marketing fees.”
The shady Daley project comes to light following a series of widespread problems surrounding the EB-5 visa program, which was created more than two decades ago to ignite economic development in rural areas and has come under bipartisan attack in recent years. Just last month a U.S. senator who sits on the Judiciary Committee reminded Congress that years ago an interagency working group consisting of DHS and other federal agencies with national security responsibilities recommended discontinuing the EB-5 visa program. The panel cited “rampant exploitation” in the program as well as “widespread fraud and national security concerns.” Additionally, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the investigative arm of the U.S. Congress, has determined that the EB-5 visa program is susceptible to fraud and that its economic benefits are questionable.

Weekend Attacks Across US Show Need for Renewed Vigilance
While these attacks appear unrelated, very little is known at the moment about the perpetrators and their motives. The FBI and local law enforcement are pursuing leads across the country to find those responsible and uncover the motivation behind these acts.
The Heritage Foundation will continue to monitor these cases. Not including these recent events, the U.S. homeland has faced 89 Islamist terror plots and attacks since 9/11 and 25 since the start of 2015.
New York City
In New York City, a bomb exploded in Manhattan, injuring 29 individuals. A second explosive device was found several blocks away. Police secured the device and removed it from the scene for further analysis and controlled demolition. New York authorities have called the act “intentional” and “terrorism.” While Gov. Andrew Cuomo initially claimed that the bombing didn’t appear to be related to international terrorism, he walked back that claim on Monday.
The FBI reportedly has captured Ahmad Khan Rahami, a 28-year-old U.S. citizen of Afghan descent, as a suspect in this case. Tragically, a police officer was shot in the process.
Seaside Park, New Jersey
A pipe bomb exploded in Seaside Park on Saturday morning right before a Marine Corps charity run. Several other devices were believed to be wired to the initial pipe bomb but did not explode. The run was canceled as a result. The FBI is investigating the possibility of terrorism and authorities believe Rahami may have been involved in this bombing as well.
Elizabeth, New Jersey
A pipe bomb was found at a train station in Elizabeth on Sunday night. FBI bomb robots were sent in to analyze and disarm a series of pipe bombs, but accidentally set one off. Thankfully, no one was injured. The other bombs did not explode and have been secured for further analysis. While authorities have not announced any suspects in this case, the use of multiple pipe bombs is similar to the Seaside Park case.
St. Cloud, Minnesota
Authorities have not named the individual who injured nine individuals with a knife in a mall outside Minneapolis before an off-duty police officer shot and killed the attacker. The Amaq News Agency, which is linked to the Islamic State, claimed that the individual was a “soldier of the Islamic State.” St. Cloud police confirmed that at least one victim was asked if they were Muslim before being attacked.
Unconfirmed media reports indicate that the attacker may have been Dahir Adan, a 22-year-old who reportedly immigrated to the U.S. from Somali in the 1990s as a refuge, likely with his family. Unconfirmed reports also indicate the attacker may have made statements regarding “Allah” during the attack.
The FBI is investigating the attack as a “potential act of terrorism,” but law enforcement has not finished their investigation into the motive of the attacker. However, given the evidence currently available, it is likely that this will be added to the Heritage terrorism timeline once more details are confirmed.
Understanding and Stopping Terrorism
With many of the talking heads rushing to call these incidents acts of terrorism or deny they are terrorism, it is worth considering what terrorism is. While definitions differ, terrorism is the use or threat of symbolic violence (generally by nonstate actors) against innocent targets for a political, ideological, or religious ends.
In the case of primary terrorist threat the U.S. and the world faces from the Islamist terrorists, the objective of their violence is the imposition of a harsh definition of Islamic law, i.e. Sharia, across the world.
And so, motivation matters. Law enforcement is not just investigating the violence, methods, and acts of these attackers, but also why they did what they did. While the facts currently available indicate that at least some of these attacks may been committed for Islamist reasons, this motive has not been confirmed.
In the meantime, these incidents remind us that constant vigilance is necessary. We cannot become complacent as the threat of terrorism rises around the world. Instead, we must continue to ensure that U.S. intelligence and law enforcement organizations at federal, state, and local levels have the tools and information they need to stop terrorism before it strikes.

Droves of African Migrants in Mexico Awaiting U.S. Asylum Under Secret Pact!
Details about this disturbing program come from Mexico’s immigration agency, Instituto Nacional de Migracion (INM), and appear this week in an article published by the country’s largest newspaper. “Mexico is living through a wave of undocumented Africans, due to a humanitarian crisis on that continent, that has saturated shelters in Tapachula, Chiapas, and generated pressure on shelters in Tijuana, Baja California,” the news article states. The African migrants’ journey begins in Brazil under a South American policy that allows the “free transit” of immigrants throughout the continent. Ecuador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama facilitate the process by transferring the concentration of foreigners towards Mexico based on an agreement that Mexico will help them gain entry into the U.S. so they can solicit asylum.
The Africans are mostly entering Mexico through the southern state of Chiapas, which borders Guatemala. This week alone 424 Africans arrived at the Chiapas immigration station, which is situated in Tapachula. Shelters in Tijuana currently have 154 migrants from African countries waiting on their U.S. asylum solicitations, according to figures provided by the INM. “The undocumented don’t want to stay in Mexico,” the news article clarifies. “They want to make it to U.S. territory to solicit asylum based on the life conditions that prevail in the continent.” Authorities in Tijuana are offering support to migrants from El Congo, Somalia, Ghana and Pakistan to facilitate entering the U.S. through the San Isidro crossing, according to the news story. San Isidro is the largest land border crossing between San Diego, California and Tijuana.
The Obama administration has done a great job of promoting its various back-door amnesty programs, which include perpetually extending a humanitarian measure designed to temporarily shield illegal immigrants from deportation during emergencies. It’s known as Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and in the last few years migrants from several African countries have received it so the new influx is not all surprising. Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone got TPS back in 2014 over the lingering effects of the Ebola Virus and earlier this year Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson extended it. The administration cited the “continued recovery challenges” the African countries face for the extension.
Last summer Johnson extended a TPS for Somalians until March 17, 2017, which could have served as a driving force behind the sudden surge via Latin America. A notice in the Federal Register says the extension was warranted because the conditions in Somalia that prompted the TPS designation continue to be met. “There continues to be a substantial, but temporary, disruption of living conditions in Somalia due to ongoing armed conflict that would pose a serious threat to the personal safety of returning Somali nationals, as well as extraordinary and temporary conditions in the country that prevent Somali nationals from returning to Somalia in safety,” the notice states. “The Secretary has also determined that permitting eligible Somali nationals to remain temporarily in the United States is not contrary to the national interest of the United States.”

Sanctuary Jurisdictions Protect Nearly 12,000 Criminal Illegal Immigrants in 19 Months!
A few weeks ago CIS published a map identifying about 300 jurisdictions that have official policies shielding illegal aliens from federal authorities. During a 19-month stretch from January 1, 2014, to September 30, 2015, more than 17,000 federal detainers were rejected by these sanctuary jurisdictions, CIS found. Around 11,800 of the detainers, or 68%, were issued for individuals with a prior criminal history. “According to ICE statistics, since the Obama administration implemented the new Priority Enforcement Program in July 2015 restricting ICE use of detainers, the number of rejected detainers has declined,” CIS writes in a report accompanying the map. “However, the number of detainers issued by ICE also has declined in 2016, so it is not clear if the new policies are a factor.”
The bottom line is that hundreds of local governments across the nation shield illegal immigrants from the feds, even when they have engaged in criminal activity. In some cases they go on to commit heinous crimes that receive widespread media attention. Judicial Watch has reported many of them and launched investigations, obtaining public records from the jurisdictions that protected the criminal aliens. Back in 2008 Judicial Watch obtained records from the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department—an agency long renowned for offering sanctuary—related to Edwin Ramos, an illegal alien from El Salvador who murdered three innocent American citizens. Ramos was a member of a famously violent street gang and had been convicted of two felonies as a juvenile (a gang-related assault on a bus passenger and the attempted robbery of a pregnant woman) yet he was allowed to remain in the country.
Judicial Watch also investigated the 2010 case of a drunken illegal alien who killed a nun in Virginia and we sued the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to obtain records. The Bolivian national, Carlos Montano, had a substantial criminal history but federal authorities released him on his own recognizance after two previous arrests. Virginia doesn’t have a statewide sanctuary policy, but Arlington and Chesterfield County do, according to the CIS database. Judicial Watch’s probe determined that Montano had a revoked license and had previously been arrested on drunk-driving charges when his car crossed a median and slammed into a vehicle carrying three nuns. The two survivors were critically injured. The number of serious crimes committed by illegal aliens who have benefitted from sanctuary policies is undoubtedly on the rise.
Just last summer a case in a small sanctuary town of 40,000 received global media attention over the gruesome nature of the crime. A Haitian illegal immigrant who had spent 17 years in prison for attempted murder, savagely stabbed a young woman in Norwich, Connecticut then stuffed her body in a closet. At least three deportation orders had been issued for the killer, Jean Jacques, dating back to 2002. Connecticut has long protected illegal immigrants with sanctuary policies and even offers them special drivers’ licenses, known as Drive Only. The state also gives illegal aliens discounted tuition at public colleges and universities and authorities work hard to restrict the feds from deporting illegal immigrants. In fact, despite President Obama’s amnesty and open-borders policies, Connecticut is always a step ahead when it comes to protecting illegal immigrants and granting them rights. Undoubtedly, this attracts a large population of undocumented aliens like the murderer in this case.
Last week an illegal immigrant member of the notoriously violent MS-13 street gang murdered a teenager in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The 28-year-old gangbanger from El Salvador, Oscar Delgado-Perez, had been deported twice in the last two years, according to a mainstream newspaper. Nevertheless Delgado-Perez was never removed and, along with two fellow gangbangers, he brutally stabbed an 18-year-old more than 40 times in a Gaithersburg park as the teen begged for his life. Gaithersburg is in Montgomery County, which proudly offers illegal aliens sanctuary. In fact, earlier this year Montgomery County officials publicly reassured illegal aliens that police would play no role in a federal government operation to deport recent undocumented aliens from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.

ISNA conferences often feature contentious speakers, including renowned Islamists and advocates of terrorism. Among them is Imam Warth Deen Umar, who referred to the 9/11 hijackers as martyrs that were secretly admired by Muslims and has called for violent jihad. At one ISNA convention Umar portrayed the Holocaust as punishment of Jews for being “serially disobedient to Allah,” according to a research conglomerate recognized as the world’s most comprehensive data center on radical Islamic terrorist groups. The nonprofit, Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), published a disturbing report on ISNA that documents its radical ideology and conference speakers throughout the years that include “some of the world famous Islamists and advocates of Jihad.”
About a week before the 15th anniversary of 9/11, Obama deployed Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson to ISNA’s annual powwow in Chicago. The appearance likely amounted to a slap in the face to many Americans, especially survivors of the 2001 attacks. Johnson’s speech lasted about 22 minutes and he basically said ISIS/ISIL isn’t Islamic, that Islam is a religion of peace and that Islamophobia is the same as McCarthyism. In a press release announcing the appearance, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) writes that Johnson will discuss the Obama administration’s “continued commitment to build bridges to Muslim American communities, and encourage Muslim Americans—particularly youth—to continue to fully participate in American society.”
Johnson didn’t exactly receive a warm reception and was booed repeatedly, especially as he exited the stage. He told the crowd that a group of terrorists is attempting to hijack their religion and that he and Obama “refuse to bend to the political pressure to call terrorism Islamic extremism.” He went on to say that “we know that ISIL, though it claims the banner of Islam, occupies no part of your religion, a religion founded on peace.” Then Johnson proceeded to compare the discrimination and vilification suffered by Muslims to the plight of African Americans, in particular to “tar you with a broad brush of suspicion.” Johnson proclaimed that the bullying and physical attacks experienced by Muslims nationwide are familiar to him as a black man. “I look out at this room of American Muslims and I see myself,” he said, adding that theirs is a similar struggle to the one his African American ancestors fought to win acceptance in the U.S.

itself from within. The essential cause of Rome's decline lay in her
people and her morals."
As the Roman Empire rose to greatness, it no doubt assumed that its power would last for centuries to come. But even while its citizens were living in prosperity, the empire was crumbling from the inside. You will find this true of any civilization that has ultimately collapsed or has been overcome by a foreign power. It first fell apart on the inside. The landscape of history is strewn with the remains of once-great nations that let moral decay from within bring them to ruin. The same can happen in America today as we undergo moral decay on the inside.
But the answer to this problem is not political; it is spiritual. The people of America need to turn back to God. Engraved on the wall of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. are these words of our third president:
It is my belief that our country has two choices at this time in history. One is judgment. The other is a spiritual awakening or revival, that is, a great move of God's Spirit among His people. That is what we need to pray for the United States of America.
In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God gave His prescription for revival and for the healing of a nation: "Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land" (NLT).
That statement was originally given to the nation of Israel at the dedication of their temple. But this is also what we need to do if we want to see God's blessing on our nation.
When we look at the problems in America today, we are quick to point the finger at someone else. It is the fault of Hollywood. It is the fault of the media. It is the fault of Congress. But when God sees the moral breakdown of a nation, He points to His people: "If my people who are called by my name...."
So what should we, as His people, be doing?
First, we need to humble ourselves. One of the hardest things to do is to say that we have sinned. It is difficult for us to admit to any personal wrongdoing. Maybe you haven't sinned as much as some people you know, but God doesn't grade on the curve. That's why we need to humble ourselves before God and admit that we have sinned.
Second, we need to pray and seek God's face. To fail to pray can be as much of a sin as breaking one of God's commands, because there are sins of omission as well as sins of commission. A sin of commission is breaking a commandment, while the sin of omission is not doing what you are supposed to do. If Christians will obey this command to pray and seek God's face, they will be able to do more for our nation than all of the government's programs combined.
Third, we need to repent. "If my people will...turn from their wicked ways...." The word "repent" essentially means to make a U-turn, or a change of direction. If we are going to follow Jesus Christ, then we need to turn away from the things the Bible says are sin. We need to examine our lives for anything that is inconsistent with God's Word and needs to change.
God has told us what we need to do as a nation to see His blessing come upon us. We need to stop pointing our fingers at everyone else and make sure that we are living the Christian life that God intended for us to live. But it starts with you. It starts with me.

Heritage Foundation Releases 2016 Index of Culture and Opportunity!
The Index, which was published today on Medium.com, tracks 31 indicators of America’s social foundations, levels of poverty and dependence, and educational and economic conditions—providing a larger picture of how Americans’ opportunity to advance and prosper is faring.
“When we look at the 10-year trends in these indicators, government expansion has far outstripped growth in opportunities for individuals to get ahead,” says Jennifer Marshall, Index co-editor and vice president for Heritage’s Institute of Family, Community and Opportunity.
As Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint points out in the Index's preface, “This should concern all Americans, whatever their political affiliation, who want to help the poorest among us and preserve the prosperity of our hard-working fellow citizens who have been blessed to find it.”
With 31 charts paired with commentary by experts from Heritage, other think tanks, universities, and the media, the Index is a top resource for identifying the indicators that contribute to opportunity for all—or hinder it. As for the latter, this year’s Index shows obstacles in a declining marriage rate, lower work force participation, increased dependence on public housing and food stamps, along with skyrocketing student loan debt and increased drug use among teens.
“Our Index shows that we need reforms across policy issues—from curbing marriage penalties in the welfare system, to advancing educational choice, to reducing regulations that hamper business start-ups—along with sustained efforts at the community level,” Marshall notes.

Heritage Expert Applauds as NC Governor Fights to Uphold State Bathroom Law
Heritage Foundation expert Roger Severino, a former attorney at the DOJ Civil Rights Division, applauded the governor’s response and criticized his former colleagues.

Fearless Living in Fearful Times!
Let's consider what Jesus said to His disciples:
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." (John 14:1–3 NKJV)
Jesus starts by saying, "Let not your heart be troubled." Another way to translate this phrase is, "Don't be agitated or disturbed or thrown into confusion." He didn't say, "Mull over your problems." Rather, He said, "Don't be troubled." Life is filled with trouble. It seems that once you have one problem resolved, three more take its place. Job 5:7 says, "Man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward" (NKJV). It is so true. From the moment we come into this life, there are all kinds of troubles awaiting us.
While there are reasons to be troubled in life, there are greater reasons to not be troubled. In Jesus' words, we find three reasons why we don't have to be gripped by fear, and why we can find hope in hopeless times.
Reason one: We know Jesus. Jesus told His disciples, "You believe in God, believe also in Me" (verse 1). What is He saying by implication? "I am God. You believe in God the Father. I am God the Son. Believe in Me. Trust Me." In the original language, this is a command. Jesus was not just asking the disciples to believe. He was commanding them.
There are times in our lives when we don't understand why God did or God did not do a certain thing. When I don't understand something about God, I always try to fall back on what I do understand. I do understand that God loves me. I do understand that He is looking out for me and has my best interests in mind. I do understand that no matter what happens, He will see me through.
Reason two: If you are a Christian, you are going to heaven. Jesus said, "In My Father's house are many mansions" (verse 2). God has placed eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11). This simply means that we sense there is more to life, and that keeps us moving forward. No matter what experiences we have had, no matter how wonderful they were, they were just a glimpse of what is still ahead. No matter what happens to us on this earth, it pales in comparison to this great hope. There is a better world ahead, something far greater than what we are experiencing now.
Reason three: Jesus is coming again. Some day, in the not-too-distant future, Jesus Christ will set foot again on Earth. It might be sooner than we think. When the Lord returns, He will not merely send for us, but will come in person to escort us to the Father's house. He said, "I will come again and receive you to Myself" (verse 3). He will take us with Him to heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).
Yes, there are some things we are afraid of, and rightly so, because it causes us to be discerning and careful. But we need to keep our fears in perspective. Jesus said in Matthew 10:28, "Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" (NKJV).
With this in mind, let's think about what we should really be afraid of. The worst-case scenario is not dying. The worst-case scenario is dying without Jesus.

Hillary State Dept. Helped Jailed Clinton Foundation Donor Get $10 Mil from U.S. for Failed Haiti Project!
Osorio got the money from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), a federal agency that operates under the guidance of the State Department, to build houses in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. The OPIC supposedly promotes U.S. government investments abroad to foster the development and growth of free markets. Osorio’s “Haiti project” was supposed to build 500 homes for displaced families in the aftermath of the earthquake. The project never broke ground and Osorio used the money to finance his lavish lifestyle and fund his illicit business ventures. He also ran a fraudulent international company with facilities in the U.S., United Arab Emirates, Germany, Angola and Tanzania that stole millions from investors. Some of the OPIC Haiti money was used to repay investors of his fraudulent company (Innovida), according to federal prosecutors. In September 2013, Osorio was sentenced to 150 months imprisonment and three years of supervised release.
Not surprisingly, the Department of Justice (DOJ) never mentioned Osorio’s Clinton connections and seemed to downplay the $10 million scam of taxpayer funds by focusing on the “victims” that invested in his bogus company. Among them was a beloved professional basketball star. “Osorio offered and sold shareholder interests and joint-venture partnerships in Innovida to select individuals and groups, raising more than $40,000,000 from approximately ten (10) investors and investment groups in the United States and abroad,” a DOJ statement says. “Osorio solicited and recruited investors by making materially false representations and concealing and omitting material facts regarding, among other things, the profitability of the company, the rates of return on investment funds, the use of investors’ funds and the existence of a pending lucrative contract with a third-party entity. Osorio received moneys from investors based on these misrepresentations. Osorio used investor monies for his and his co-conspirators’ personal benefit and to maintain and further the fraud scheme.”
The bigger story is that, despite Osorio’s shady history, it appears that the Clinton State Department helped him get $10 million—which will never be repaid—because he was a Clinton Foundation donor. This connection was not made until years after Osorio got sentenced. After his 2013 sentencing in Miami, the area’s largest newspaper tied him to the Clintons and President Obama as a campaign donor who held fundraisers at his waterfront home, but the foundation was not mentioned. A Washington D.C. newspaper eventually connected the dots after obtaining a document that shows an OPIC official recommending funding for Osorio’s Haiti project. In the document, the OPIC official writes that Osorio’s company had “U.S. persons of political influence that are able to assist in advancing the company’s plans.” It continues: “For instance, former President Bill Clinton is personally in contact with the Company to organize its logistical and support needs,” the document states. “Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has made available State Department resources to assist with logistical arrangements.” Additionally, the Clinton Global Initiative had “indicated that it would be willing to contract to purchase 6,500 homes in Haiti from InnoVida within the next year.”
Less than 24 hours after the OPIC official submitted the recommendation, the news report says, OPIC approved Osorio’s $10 million loan to build homes in earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Not one was ever built and no one has been held accountable for giving the crooked businessman millions of taxpayer dollars.

Military Intel Confirms JW Reporting: Muslim Terrorists Entering U.S. Via Mexico!
Located in Miami, Florida SOUTHCOM is one of nine unified combat commands in the Department of Defense (DOD). It’s responsible for providing contingency planning operations and security cooperation in Central and South America as well as the Caribbean. The internal assessment on SIA smuggling has not been made public, but a conservative Washington D.C. online newspaper obtained key points from the command’s J-2 intelligence directorate. A SOUTHCOM Army colonel told the paper that in 2015 more than 30,000 migrants who entered the U.S. through the southwestern border were from countries of “terrorist concern.”
The new SOUTHCOM report specifically mentions Sunni extremists, the news article states. The terrorists are using a known alien smuggling network in Latin America to reach the U.S. but the network has not been identified by military officials. “Networks that specialize in smuggling individuals from regions of terrorist concern, mainly from the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, the Middle East, and East Africa, are indeed a concern for SOUTHCOM and other interagency security partners who support our country’s national security,” a SOUTHCOM Army Colonel, Lisa A. Garcia, says in the story. “There are major hubs that serve as entry points into the region for migrants from those areas of concern attempting to enter the U.S. along our border with Mexico.”
Judicial Watch has reported for years on the critical national security threats created on the southern border by Islamic terrorists teaming up with Mexican drug cartels to infiltrate and attack the U.S. As part of an ongoing investigation Judicial Watch has interviewed local, state and federal law enforcement officials as well as military sources on both sides of the border. Our reporting confirmed that ISIS has a training cell just a few miles from El Paso, Texas in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. We also verified that Mexican drug cartels are smuggling foreigners from countries with terrorist links to stash areas in a rural Texas town called Acala. Once in the U.S., the SIAs wait for pick-up in the area’s sand hills just across a state road several dozen miles from El Paso.
Earlier this year Judicial Watch uncovered State Department records confirming that “Arab extremists” are entering the U.S. through Mexico with the assistance of smuggling network “cells.” Among them is a top Al Qaeda operative wanted by the FBI. The government documents also reveal that some Mexican smuggling networks actually specialize in providing logistical support for Arab individuals attempting to enter the United States. The top Al Qaeda leader in Mexico was identified in the State Department records, via a September 2004 cable from the American consulate in Ciudad Juárez, as Adnan G. El Shurkrjumah. In December, 2014 Shukrijumah was killed by the Pakistan Army in an intelligence-borne operation in South Waziristan. But before he died Shukrijumah helped plan several U.S. attacks, including plots to bomb Oprah Winfrey’s studio and detonate nuclear devices in multiple American cities. For years Shukrijumah appeared on the FBI’s most wanted list and, despite being sought by the agency, he crossed back and forth into the U.S. from Mexico to meet fellow militant Islamists in Texas. Back in 2014 Judicial Watch reported that, as one of the world’s most wanted terrorists, Shukrijumah piloted an aircraft into the Cielo Dorado airfield in Anthony, New Mexico.
In 2014 Judicial Watch also exposed a plot by Islamic terrorist groups operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juárez. Judicial Watch’s high-level law enforcement and intelligence sources specifically identified ISIS in the plot and confirmed that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border had been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies were placed on alert and Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, increased security measures. Military experts contacted by Judicial Watch said the increased security at a key Army base near the Mexican border indicates the facility was a target. Military installations in the U.S. only make changes to security measures when there are clear and present threats, according to the senior military officials.

Choudary, who in interviews with Fox News and other media has for years made no secret of his embrace of Shariah law and Islamic radicalism, was convicted Tuesday of “inviting support for a proscribed organization,” namely ISIS. He faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced next month.
During the trial, prosecutors complained that despite Choudary’s incendiary Tweets and YouTube videos, they had no power to force social media companies to remove the material.
It’s a sharp contrast to the treatment Twitter last month afforded Yiannopoulos, who was banned from the 140-character forum after his “Ghostbusters” tweets, but says the ban is a reaction to years of conservative posts.
“An Islamic hate preacher convicted of inciting terrorism: fine,” Yiannopoulos told FoxNews.com. “A gay man expressing concern about Muslim immigration: not fine. Welcome to the new, Shariah-compliant Twitter.”

WASHINGTON—New details of the $400 million U.S. payment to Iran earlier this year depict a tightly scripted exchange specifically timed to the release of several American prisoners held in Iran.
The picture emerged from accounts of U.S. officials and others briefed on the operation: U.S. officials wouldn’t let Iranians take control of the money until a Swiss Air Force plane carrying three freed Americans departed from Tehran on Jan. 17. Once that happened, an Iranian cargo plane was allowed to bring the cash home from a Geneva airport that day.
President Barack Obama and other U.S. officials have said the payment didn’t amount to ransom, because the U.S. owed the money to Iran as part of a longstanding dispute linked to a failed arms deal from the 1970s. U.S. officials have said that the prisoner release and cash transfer took place through two separate diplomatic channels.
But the handling of the payment and its connection to the Americans’ release have raised questions among lawmakers and administration critics….
One of the Americans released in January as part of the prisoner exchange, a pastor named Saeed Abedini, said he and other American prisoners were kept waiting at Mehrabad airport from Jan. 16 to the morning of Jan. 17. He said in an interview that he was told by a senior Iranian intelligence official at the time that their departure was contingent upon the movements of a second airplane. Mr. Abedini said he has been asked to testify next month before the House Foreign Relations Committee.
State Department officials have rebutted Mr. Abedini’s comments, saying the delay in his plane’s departure wasn’t related to a second plane or the payment of the $400 million. They said the delay was solely tied to U.S. efforts to locate the wife and mother of another imprisoned American, the Washington Post’s former Tehran bureau chief, Jason Rezaian, and ensuring they were allowed to board the Swiss plane as well.
The U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned Iran Air in 2011 for allegedly ferrying weapons and supplies for Tehran’s elite military unit, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Treasury said in its designation that “IRGC officers occasionally take control over Iran Air flights carrying special IRGC-related cargo.”
Lawmakers are concerned the IRGC may have gained control of the cash once in Tehran. U.S. officials said they are not certain how Iran has used the $400 million that was returned.
The Treasury Department lifted sanctions on Iran Air on Jan. 16—the day before the cash and prisoner transfers— as part of the landmark nuclear agreement reached between Iran, the U.S. and other global powers. The U.S. has maintained sanctions on a second Iranian air carrier, Mahan Air, for its alleged role in facilitating arms shipments for the IRGC.
Obama administration officials have confirmed that they have paid the remaining $1.3 billion to Iran as part of the settlement reached in January on the failed arms deal. This marked the interest accrued over the past 37 years on the original $400 million paid by Iran, though administration officials have said it could have cost some $10 billion without the settlement.

AMERICA’S HEART MUST TURN
As Founder of SAVE AMERICA I am committed to and
charged with stirring the soul of America. We must renew our minds and
thinking as Americans that our hearts might be turned back to truth,
integrity, a moral base, and God’s authority. That is, indeed, a tall
order. None of us can do it alone. For that reason, I am encouraging you
and other Americans of similar mind and heart to join with me as
“ambassadors” – carriers of this message in your homes, families, civic
groups, churches, work places, and schools…from the Kingdom of God to
citizens of a nation in sore distress.
NO COMMON SENSE
We Americans have become increasingly anesthetized to
the erosion of values. The problem has now become severe. There just
seems to be no “common sense”, and the reason is that there is no common
“consensus.”
Our nation was once known as a “Christian” nation. A Christian
consensus prevailed throughout the land. While not everyone was a
Christian, there was nearly total acceptance of the principles of the
Bible as the foundation for life and society. That consensus has been
severed by cultural drift, by historical revisionism, and by spiritual
rebellion. Chaos now reigns where Christ once ruled. Now every man does
that which is right in his own eyes. Lawlessness prevails.
THE ROOT ISSUE
There are many fine organizations throughout America
carrying a message that we need to return to “traditional values.” Their
message is, for the most part, focused on “Culture War” issues such as
family, abortion, homosexuality, and protection of religious rights,
etc. Most of these problems, however, are symptoms of the root problem. SAVE AMERICA,
on the other hand, has been formed to speak to the root issue – the
need to restore our moral and spiritual foundation. Returning to the
authority of the Bible, faith in God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ,
is America’s only hope. That will require massive spiritual revival in
the Church which will birth attitudes of reconciliation and acts of
righteousness. The early colonists cried, “No King but Jesus.” Today we
cry, “Any King but Jesus.” Jesus may be Savior, but SELF has become “king.”
A “TRUTH” QUAKE
We could compare our current dilemma to that of a great
earthquake. There is usually only one earthquake, but there are many
aftershocks. What we have experienced in our nation is a great
earthquake… a “truth” quake. We have lost our love for and foundation of
truth. Everyone is doing that which is right in his own eyes. For that
reason, we are reaping the consequences throughout our society of
numerous “aftershocks” – lack of leadership; lack of direction; family
breakdown; abortion; disloyalty; insurgence of gangs as surrogate
families; massive personal and national debt; and a soaring crime rate.
These are not the primary issues. They are the after shocks.
CAN AMERICA BE SAVED?
SAVE AMERICA is a catalyst in drawing together
the efforts of our families, our churches, and the other fine
organizations that are speaking to the “aftershock” problems so that we
can present a unified front to restore our moral and spiritual base. It
can be done. The question is, “How can it be done?”
The first step is to recognize the true problem or disease. It is
moral decay and spiritual drift. A Lordship “crisis” in the church has
produced an authority crisis in the nation. The secular and humanist
mind-set has so infiltrated our society that it has gained a stronghold
even in our churches – the “lighthouse” of our society. We must renew
the mind of America in our churches and in our own individual spiritual
lives. Our hearts will then turn that we might again be eligible to
receive the blessings God has for those who will follow and obey Him.
God states in His Word, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” This
is also true of a nation. As a nation thinks in its heart, so is it. If
we are to be transformed as a nation, our minds must be renewed.
Changed minds lead to changed hearts. America will not change until the
hearts of We the People change.
THE METHOD
Talk radio is the premier tool of our time for effectively communicating ideas. It is at the heart of the SAVE AMERICA
effort. It enables the message to be “massaged” frequently and cost
effectively on traditional stations and the Internet. It enables us to
penetrate the heart and mind of America, renewing a moral and spiritual
viewpoint that will restore national vision and purpose. It enables us
to lay the foundations for revival, beginning with the “house of God.”
Before we can clean up the White House, God must clean up the Church
House. For that reason, the air waves must be redeemed to bring revival
and repentance to those who profess the name of the Lord. Our VIEWPOINT
broadcast has been delivered daily for fourteen years, but now must
expand due to increasingly urgent times both nationally and
internationally. Time is running out as we race toward history’s final
hour.
NO LONGER INTIMIDATED TO SILENCE
We must disclose our solidarity in a call for spiritual
revival. We must cooperate with God’s grief in the Church House before
He can deal with our grief in the White House or School House. We must
speak! Political correctness is “out” – truth is “in”. We can no longer
be intimidated to silence! We must stand shoulder to shoulder in public
acknowledgment of our commitment to restore righteousness in our land
beginning at the house of God. We must become agents of personal and
national healing and ambassadors of righteousness. Air time must be
sacrificially released, funded, and placed on the altar as a sacred
trust for the delivery of heart-rending truth without expectation of
financial return.
PREPARING FOR THE SECOND COMING
America’s divine destiny was to disciple the nations. SAVE AMERICA
Ministries is discipling the nation for destiny. We are “preparing the
way of the Lord” for history’s final hour. Without holiness the nation
will have no wholeness to fulfill her destiny, and “without holiness, no
man shall see the Lord.”
A WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY
The message SAVE AMERICA brings at this
moment in our nation’s history is critical. It is a prophetic message of
hope but also of warning. We have been given a brief window of
opportunity to repent…to submit to God and His ways as the foundation
for our lives both individually and as a nation. There has never been a
more critical hour in our nation. If we fail to act NOW, there will not be another opportunity! Renewing the Soul of America is our most urgent need.
AMERICA’S DESTINY IS IN YOUR HANDS
Remember, America’s destiny is in your hands and mine.
This is the moment of truth. It is the hour of decision. The opportunity
and challenge is great, but the time is short! Without you it cannot
happen…but…Together, in cooperation with God’s Spirit and in conformity
to His conditions, God, by His grace, may yet Preserve Us A Nation to
accomplish His purposes. Can America count on you? Can God? Where your
treasure is, there will your heart be also.

ISIS Terrorist Tells Feds He Has Jihadist Brothers in Mexico Confirming JW Reports
Though a number of high-level law enforcement, intelligence and military sources on both sides of the border have provided Judicial Watch with evidence that Islamic terrorist cells are operating in Mexico, the Obama administration has publicly denied it, both to Judicial Watch and in mainstream media outlets. Now we have a terrorism suspect in custody proudly affirming it. His name is Erick Jamal Hendricks and the U.S. has charged him with conspiring to provide ISIS and ISIL material support. Hendricks created a sleeper cell with at least ten members, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ), and claims that some of his jihadist “brothers” are just south of the U.S. border in Mexico. The 35-year-old lived for a short time in Charlotte, North Carolina and was arrested and charged in Ohio last week. Hendricks tried to “recruit people to train together and conduct terrorist attacks in the United States,” according to the government’s criminal complaint.
Hendricks contacted another ISIS operative, referred to as “CW-1”, who was arrested last summer, about working with him and several other terrorists to carry out attacks. “Hendricks allegedly told CW-1 that he ‘needed people’ and wanted to meet in person; that there were several ‘brothers’ located in Texas and Mexico; that he was attempting to ‘get brothers to meet face to face;’ and that he wanted ‘to get brothers to train together,'” according to a DOJ announcement. Hendricks and his sleeper cell targeted U.S. military members and a woman who organized a “Draw Muhammad” cartoon contest in Garland, Texas last May. Two men in body armor with assault rifles tried to carry out an attack in the Dallas suburb building where the event took place but were shot dead by police. The FBI says Hendricks was connected with the terrorism-related shooting. Federal prosecutors reveal that Hendricks vetted CW-1 by testing his religious knowledge and commitment to jihad, to die as a martyr and his desire to enter Jannah (paradise), the feds say.
The Hendricks case points to a broader issue of, not only homegrown terrorism, but the immense threat along the southern border. Islamic terrorists are training in southern border towns near American cities and have joined forces with Mexican drug cartels to infiltrate the United States. Judicial Watch has investigated this national security crisis for years and interviewed local, state and federal law enforcement officials as well as military sources on both sides of the border. Besides exposing ISIS camps just miles from Texas, Judicial Watch has verified that Mexican drug cartels are smuggling foreigners from countries with terrorist links to stash areas in a rural Texas town called Acala. Judicial Watch also uncovered a massive FBI scandal involving a narco-terror ringleader with ties to ISIS and Mexican drug cartels. As part of the FBI cover-up the agency facilitated the ringleader’s release from a Chicago jail last year.
